The Kingdom of Dalhousie needs you! The adults of the kingdom are losing their skills and only you - the squires and apprentices - can find the magical ingredients to make the antidote. Join other brave adventurers in deciding what your characters would do in this tabletop role - playing game, but be careful: one roll of the dice could mean the end of your quest and the destruction of the kingdom! Altered Books (Ages 8-14)
Feeling creative? Join us at the Dr. Huq Family Library Branch as we recycle old books into unique pieces of art! An "altered book" is a book that has been creatively transformed into something new and completely you. It can be painted, cut, rubber stamped, folded, added to, or otherwise adorned. There are no rules, just let your imagination soar! Materials will be provided, however, feel free to bring any interesting craft supplies (stamps, buttons, yarn, scrap-booking paper) that you would like to use on your project.
